Special Purpose Flood Damage Reduction Regulations for Clermont County

The County adopts and maintains Flood Plain Regulations in order to comply with the National Flood Plain Insurance Program per FEMA requirements. The current Regulations were updated and adopted in 2006. Approval is required for all work or development to property in special flood hazard areas within the jusrisdiction of Clermont County as identified in Section 1.6 of the regulations.

• Form MT-EZ: This form should be used by an individual property owner to request that FEMA remove a single structure or a legally recorded parcel of land or portion thereof from a designated Special Flood Hazard Area, an area that will be inundated by the flood having a 1% chance of being equaled or exceeded in any given year (base flood), via Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA)
