Permit Central/Building Inspection Department Fees

The Fee Schedule is changing effective Jan. 1, 2022.  The changes were outlined during public hearings in October and final approval was issued with the Board of County Commissioners on Dec. 1, 2021.

Submittal of Application – All of the applicable fees outlined in the Fee Schedule for the Clermont County Permit Central/Building Department are due with the initial submittal of the application and construction drawings.

Approval of Plans – Several fees (such as Sewer & Water fees, various electrical fees, etc.) must be determined after review of the construction plans, and may not be due at the time of submittal of application. Applicant will be notified of these fees and payment will be due when plan review is completed.

Completion of Inspections – Once a permit is approved and issued and inspections are scheduled, additional fees maybe added to the permit.  This would include failed inspections, additional and/or re-inspections (per trip) of $35.00.   If an inspection is scheduled and it is not completed due to “no access” to the site/work area the $35.00 fee will be accessed.   These additional fees will be invoiced prior to the issue of certification of completion/occupancy.
