As of June 1, 2026, the Clermont County Building Department will no longer allow the Rough Energy (Insulation) and Electric Service Release Inspections to coincide with the Rough Building, Electric, and Mechanical Inspections. These will have to be scheduled separately at least one day or more after the initial Rough Inspections are completed and passed.

Request Records

Requests can be forwarded to our email at permitcentral@clermontcountyohio.gov, please put “Records Request” in the subject line.  Construction plans are destroyed when the project is completed.  So, if you are looking for plans of when a home was built or another completed project, the plans will not be part of our records.   Please contact the builder, contractor or previous owner for those records.
